Getting There

Rongai Gate is accessed from the town of Moshi, with climbers often flying into Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transport can be arranged with climbing operators to the gate.

Getting Around

Climbing Kilimanjaro is strictly on foot, with porter services available through licensed operators to carry gear and supplies.

Visas

Tanzania requires visas for most travelers, which can be obtained on arrival or in advance from Tanzanian consulates. Ensure your passport has at least 6 months' validity.
