Burunge Tented Lodge

Luxury tented lodge. Beautiful scenery from the reception and bar area towards bush and Burunge Lake. Very nice pool. Spacious tents with wonderful view across the lake. Very friendly and supportive staff. Excellent food. Definitely a place to come back to.

Nice place to stay at Tarangire National Park just next to Burunge lake with all modern facilities maintaining the wilderness ambience. Good food, smiling staff, quiet surroundings with only the chirping of the birds. Recommended stay during ones trip to Tarangire.

Comfy beds, very clean. Stunning view from dining area. Also good views from deck of tent. Bring ear plugs! So much bird noise overnight! Breakfast was good, dinner was ok but held in almost complete  darkness!.  Enjoyed free cocktails at 6pm. Good packed lunches.  Took us about 30-40mins to get into the actual park, although you are surrounded by nature there - to the extent security escort you back to your tent after dinner in case you cross paths with an animal.

The Lodge, located near the lake Burunge was an experience. The lodge lies ideally close to Manyara and Tarangire National Park. At night you can hear the animals outside your tent villa and sometimes you will have a guest in the morning :-)

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The only extras were drinks which were very reasonably priced. Cannot recommend highly enough,superb experience. Surrounded by wildlife night and day.
