Big Tree Camp is reached by a trek from the Lemosho gate, which involves a drive from Moshi or Arusha to the starting point of the climb.
Getting Around
Navigation in and around the camp is on foot, with paths leading to and from the campsite as part of the Lemosho and Northern Circuit routes.
Visas
Climbers from most countries will need a Tanzanian visa or an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) to climb Kilimanjaro, obtainable in advance or on arrival for many nationalities.
