Getting There
The journey to Machame Camp begins at the Machame Gate, accessible by road from Moshi or Arusha. Trekkers will start their ascent through the rainforest to reach the camp by late afternoon.

Movement within and beyond Machame Camp is on foot, with each trekker carrying a day pack while porters transport the bulk of the camping gear and supplies.
