About Me
As a professional photographer and videographer, I have had the privilege of capturing the essence of Africa through my lens. Born in Australia and raised in the foothills of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, I developed a deep connection with Africa and its diverse cultures and people from a young age. During my formative years, I had the privilege of attending boarding school in South Africa, starting at the tender age of 7. I would travel back and forth between Tanzania, where I grew up for school holidays. I then completed my high school studies at Michaelhouse school in 2012.
After completing my high school studies, I pursued my higher education at The University of Edinburgh, where I studied Business and Marketing. During my time there, I co-founded a company, where we created over ten different event brands. As we were mindful of costs, I took on the responsibility of photography, videography, and editing, honing my skills in these areas along the way. Over the course of eight years, our company has thrived and continues to operate in Edinburgh. With the business running smoothly, I have been able to shift my focus towards my true passion: film and photography in Africa. My strong background in Africa has fuelled my passion to capture the beauty and essence of this continent in my work.
