About the Property

Mara Mara Tented Lodge holds a prime spot in the Serengeti, cherished for its location. A quick drive shifts you from the tranquil camp to the thrilling scene of the yearly Wildebeest Migration’s highlight: the river crossings. Nestled amidst trees, the lodge offers charming river views. The 15 tents, each with its own bathroom, present the choice of king-sized or twin beds. The camp uses solar power and has a back-up generator so there is always lighting in your tent. Additionally, you can unwind by the pool or stay connected through the camp’s Wi-Fi. It has been designed and decorated in a modern African style that creates a fresh and light ambiance, very welcoming but with a touch of luxury. Guests can observe the Great Migration from the comfort of their tents.

At Mara Mara Tented Lodge, dining is a delightful experience that takes place in both the indoor dining room and the outdoor terrace, offering picturesque river views. An early breakfast, setting the tone before your morning game drive. An afternoon tea break precedes your afternoon drive, followed by your return to a charming candle-lit 3-course dinner. To add to the lodge's ambiance, a cozy lounge and bar are available – an ideal setting for sharing safari tales and savoring a sunset cocktail in the evening.

Getting There



Elegant tents built on raised wood platforms with a private terrace overlooking the savannah. There is a choice of beds, a king size bed or two singles. The bedrooms have a bathroom with a bathtub and an outdoor shower. The family tent consists of two interconnected tents. The bungalow rooms consist of two interconnected rooms.
