About the Property
Nestled on the eastern side of the Ngorongoro Crater's rim, Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp is an intimate safari retreat with 8 guest tents, including a 2-tent family unit. The camp also features a comfortable lounge and a welcoming dining tent. Each guest tent boasts an en-suite bathroom complete with a shower, vanity desk, and flush toilets. Guests can choose between a king-size bed, twin beds, or triple accommodations based on their preferences. The camp's lounge serves as a social hub where fellow travellers gather to exchange tales of their safari adventures while sipping on complimentary Tanzanian coffee or tea. Delicious daily meals, including breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, are freshly prepared by the camp's chefs. On suitable evenings, gather around the campfire, known locally as "Bush TV," to soak in the ambiance.

The dining tent is the central space for relishing African-inspired breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Additionally, the camp offers the unique experience of private bush lunches on the crater floor, thoughtfully prepared by the camp's skilled chefs. After dinner, guests can enjoy traditional Maasai staff performances as part of the evening's entertainment. The restaurant's deck provides a picturesque setting for morning coffee.

Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp's guest tents are designed to offer comfort and immersion in the surrounding wilderness. Each tent features a balcony area with safari chairs and a coffee table beneath the tent's overhang. The rooms are uniformly equipped with either a king-size bed or 2-3 twin beds, bedside tables with lamps, a clothes hanger/luggage shelf, a lockable wooden storage box for cameras and valuables, a solar handheld light, and a whistle for security and room service. Mosquito nets are provided for beds and are lowered by housekeeping staff during turndown service. The en-suite washrooms feature a vanity desk with a mirror and sink, face towels, toiletries, and bathrobes. Each washroom also contains a flush toilet and a shower with adjustable temperature settings, with hot water supplied by solar water heaters. Additionally, the rooms have individual solar panels and inverters for permanent lighting, offering independence from the main camp's power supply.
