The airport is surely better than I imagined in terms of cleanliness and decor. But the communication was horrendous when it came to announcing flights and their gates. The screens showed a gate. Some people assembled there, some people assembled elsewhere based on hearsay from the airport staff however neither of it was true and it turned out it was another gate. Clearly showed a big communication gap between airlines and the airport staff.

However, the domestic flight terminal nearby looks quite ok. There was a delay in my flight to Zanzibar and I was constantly apprised of the flight delays and the airlines compensated us for lunch at the airport lounge as well. There is an airport supermarket as well.

I find the airport very functional. The immigration wasn't so annoying nor begging for tips. The facilities worked as they should. There are bureau de change, food courts and other services you may need to ease your journey. Expect the usual taxi hassles common in African airports

It's an amazing world class airport with all the facilities you need to make your travel experience better. Loads of shops, restaurants and toilet facilities.
The best thing about the airport is that you don't get hassled but anyone.
The car park is also very safe and free unlike quite a few african airports were people gather around the arrivals area and car park which can sometimes be kinda intimidating.

Nyerere National Park

We loved our visits to the park.  It is a path less trodden than some of the other parts of Tanzania.  The result is a feeling of space and the randomness of the natural world.  It is not entirely a neatly packaged and commercial place, piled high with wealthy tourists in designed safari gear and it is all the better for that.  Maybe it will move in that direction eventually, when the road from Dar is completed (if it is ever completed!).  My advice would be to get there before then.

We had a wonderful experience in the park! We saw lions, wildebeests, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles and many other animals and plants. What an incredible experience!

Fantastic. Quite remote and rustic but with all the luxuries and an amazing staff. Our driver/guide ( Gerald) was fantastic and our chef and butler were incredible. We had massages that were great and the animal viewing was tremendous.

It is difficult to describe how magical my stay at jabalí ridge has been.
The staff is just incredible and welcoming, since minute one I have felt like home.
The place is amazing, the views are magical, it’s like being in a dream.
All the facilities that they have, spa, library, community zone, are in synchronisation with the environment.
Having some time spent at the swimming pool between ride and ride is a good way to relax, and all the staff is ready to attend any needs you have.
Having a drink, carefully prepared by Tare, I loved his mojitos, before dinner and share what your ride has been in between other guests and staff is one of the bests moments. Also loved Pascal riffles.
But the best of the best was my ride with Daudi, he has been the best guide guru I could ask for.
